Join ASHRAE Committee for New Project on Building Performance Modeling Software

One ASHRAE standard is under public review for its Title, Purpose and Scope (TPS) and is looking for members simultaneously.
ASHRAE announced a call for members for BSR/ASHRAE Standard 229P, Protocols for Evaluating Ruleset Implementation in Building Performance Modeling Software, at the same time the standard’s TPS went to public review. The TPS is under a 30-day Public Review from November 29 to December 29.
PURPOSE:
This standard establishes tests and acceptance criteria for implementation of rulesets (e.g., modeling rules) and related reporting in building performance modeling software.
SCOPE:
2.1 This standard applies to building performance modeling software that implements rulesets.
2.2 This standard applies to rulesets associated with new or existing buildings and their systems, system controls, their sites, and other aspects of buildings described by the ruleset implementation being evaluated.
