Artificial intelligence (AI) policy: ASHRAE prohibits the entry of content from any ASHRAE publication or related ASHRAE intellectual property (IP) into any AI tool, including but not limited to ChatGPT. Additionally, creating derivative works of ASHRAE IP using AI is also prohibited without express written permission from ASHRAE.

New Guideline Centered on Gaseous Contaminants’ Measurement Procedures

ASHRAE’s newest guideline focuses on measurement procedures for gaseous contaminants.

ASHRAE Guideline 27-2019, Measurement Procedures for Gaseous Contaminants in Commercial Buildings, provides recommended procedures for measuring airborne gas and vapor concentrations in commercial buildings in order to produce field measurements that are accurate and reproducible.

This the first edition of the guideline.
