Brian Bogdan, ASHRAE Member is the Senior Director of Applications Engineering, LG Electronics USA, Inc. Brian is a graduate of the University of Florida, Gainesville with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and has 20 years of experience in the HVAC industry. His experience includes work with Trane focusing on Centrifugal Chiller Unit Controls and now with LG Electronics USA, Inc. overseeing Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) and ductless products. Brian has served ASHRAE in several capacities. He is a current member of TC 8.7 (VRF), past Chair of the Committee and has been involved in the Handbook Subcommittee and writing of the VRF Chapter in the ASHRAE HVAC Systems and Equipment Handbook. Additionally, Brian is a founding member of SGPC 41 Design, Installation and Commissioning of Variable Refrigerant Flow Systems.
