David Fisher, Life Member ASHRAE, is president of PolarSoft Inc., a Pittsburgh-based company specializing in BACnet® software development, consulting, and training. He was a charter voting member of ASHRAE’s SPC135P and was very active in the development of ASHRAE Standard 135-2020, BACnet® — A Data Communication Protocol for Building Automation and Control Networks since its inception. He remains very involved with the SSPC 135 standing committee as a participant and a principal author.
