During the 2026 ASHRAE Winter Conference President's Lunch, ASHRAE recognized the ongoing support of the Research Promotion (RP) Campaign's major donors. The RP Annual Campaign reached several milestones in 2024-25. These milestones include:
- Raised a record $2.81 million! This is all due to the amazing teamwork of our RP Committee and volunteers all over the world.
- More than 3,500 ASHRAE members, businesses, and friends of ASHRAE made gifts.
- Congratulations to the Rocky Mountain Chapter (Region IX) and their Chapter RP Chair Kaitlyn Sporleder for raising more than $122,000 for RP!
- Gifts through RP helped to fund 81 ASHRAE Scholarships and 46 research projects, as well as several grants-in-aid.
The Benefactor, Platinum Circle, and Golden Circle Investors are the backbone of ASHRAE Research and the annual campaign that support ASHRAE’s many programs. Thanks to their annual investments of at least $30,000 for ASHRAE Benefactor, $20,000 for Platinum Circle and $10,000 for Golden Circle, ASHRAE continues to be the industry leader in HVAC&R research.
